Warming festive tipples

It occurred to me yesterday that I’ve made it to December this year without having a mulled drink of any variety. This is unheard of, and I’ve decided to do something about it. Bring on the festive tipples.

Here are a few recipes I’m planning to try…

White mulled wine from BBC Good Food

I like the idea of switching up the traditional red mulled wine in favour of white. This one is mixed with cider, elderflower cordial, vanilla and spices. Sounds delicious!

Spiced cider from Jamie Oliver

Lots of extra fruit like oranges and pomegranate added to this classic

Pimms Strudel from House & Garden

A mix of Pimm’s, warm apple juice and cream.

And special mention goes to this salted caramel white russian by Kate La Vie

An indulgent, dreamy delight, with one heck of a garnish!

Bottoms up!
